Projector Screens on Stands Print E-mail
Friday, 06 April 2007
Projector screens come in two basic types.  The first are those which are mounted on a wall or other surface, and are either manually-operated or powered screens, which unroll at the touch of a button.  These projector screens are useful if you have a room specially set aside for the use of a projector, be it a home cinema or, in a business context, a conference or meeting room which you often use for screening films or videos, presentations, and the like.

However, for a variety of reasons, such fixed screens are not always appropriate for everyone’s needs.  For one thing, their installation ties the use of your projector to that room – not ideal if a larger meeting room is required, unless you have wall-mounted screens in each room.  Powered projector screens, while certainly convenient, are naturally more expensive.

Projector screens on stands avoid these difficulties.  The screens are easily dismantled and taken to another room, or moved around for best visibility, and smaller versions are fully portable, allowing you to take them to your clients, rather than make them come to you.  Most screens mounted on stands in this way have a simple catch mechanism that allows them to be unrolled and secured at the top of the frame, and have handles and carrying cases for ease of use.  They can also easily be adjusted depending on the position of your projection equipment.  Projector screens on stands offer you and your business a professional presentation option at low cost and maximum convenience.
